- “A strong economy is the source of energy for Japan. Without regaining a strong economy, there is no future for Japan,” Abe told his first news conference after becoming prime minister for the second time.

Calling his administration a “crisis breakthrough Cabinet,” Abe promised to launch bold economic measures to pull Japan out of deflation.

- Abe labeled his Cabinet formed on Dec. 26 as one tasked with “breaking through the crisis.”

- SHINZO ABE, who will become Japan’s new prime minister on December 26th, is wasting little time in offering the goodies. The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), which staged a remarkable return to power in elections on December 16th, has made reviving an economy sapped by deflation the central goal of his “crisis-beating” cabinet."

The Financial Times も、

- Japan’s new finance minister has signalled that the government will borrow to boost the struggling economy, as Prime Minister Shinzo Abe unveiled a “crisis beating” cabinet on Wednesday.
He has vowed to create a “crisis-beating government” to tackle the deflation that has dogged Japan for more than a decade and also the strong yen.

- "Let's unite our strength in the crisis-busting Cabinet," Abe, who was prime minister from September 2006 to September 2007, said during a meeting with Natsuo Yamaguchi, head of the LDP's coalition government partner, the New Komeito party.

- ...he says he will form a "crisis-busting Cabinet."

- Abe, Japan's next prime minister under a ruling coalition between the LDP and New Komeito, told reporters on Monday that he plans to form a "crisis-busting" cabinet.

- In keeping with my determination to defeat the impending crisis for the sake of our nation and people, today I formed a 'crisis breakthrough Cabinet.' I included in my Cabinet people with experience as the President of the LDP and as Chief Representative of The New Komeito as well as leader candidates who will play a prominent role in the next generation.
In inaugurating this 'crisis breakthrough Cabinet' I have instructed its members to dedicate their greatest possible efforts to the three areas of economic revival, reconstruction, and crisis management.
