marginalia （「欄外の注」その２）

前回取り上げた marginal note と同じ意味を持つ marginalia という単語がある。marginal の前後を辞書で眺めていて見つけたもので、短くメモしておきたい。

「欄外の注」のほか、下記に引用したように、「周辺の」を意味する marginal に沿った語義もある。この形で複数形扱いになる。

- 1. 余白（欄外）の書き込み；傍注(marginal notes)
2. 周辺的な事柄、付帯的な事項
